Holly C. Moffat Sewell has taught tap classes at Armfield Dance Academy for the past 4 years.
Holly began her training with Tina Tullock at Etowah Point of Dance for 2 years before coming to
Armfield Dance Academy where Holly studied ballet, tap, pointe and jazz for 5 years. Holly has performed the
following roles: The Fairy Godmother in Cinderella, Red Queen in Alice in Wonderland and Head Mistress in
Graduation Ball. Holly has been married to Charles R. Sewell for 14 years. They live in Madisonville and
have a 8 year old son, Christian, who takes tap from his mother.
Traci Tindell has taught for Armfield Dance Academy for 3 years, teaching teen jazz, and pre-school
dance. For 15 years she danced at Armfield Dance Academy, performing roles such as Cinderella, Sugar Plum,
Snow Queen, Tiger Lily and Glenda the Good Witch. She won first place for ballet in the 2005 Roane State
Humanities Festival as well as the University of Martin Dance Scholarship. Traci has toured
abroad dancing in Mexico, Belize, and Greece, and continues her dance education/business major
in hopes of one day having her own dance studio.
Buffy McDonaldBuffy McDonald, a native of McMinn County, started her dance career with Tina Tullock,
taking ballet, tap, jazz, and pre-pointe for five years before moving to Armfield Dance Academy to study jazz,
tap, ballet, and pointe for three years. While studying dance with both Tina Tullock and Elaine
Armfield Guffey, she performed jazz and tap routines in competitions and participated in workshops.
Buffy attended McMinn Central High school, taking jazz under Paula Duff and jazz and tap at Carolyn
Clark’s Dance Carousel in Cleveland, TN. While attending Tennessee Wesleyan College, Buffy cheered
for two years and helped to start up a dance team for the remaining two years she was there. After
graduating with a degree in Elementary Education, Buffy continued working with the TWC Dance Team as
the choreographer.
She is currently teaching her tenth year of school at Westside Elementary in Athens, TN.
Besides teaching school and choreographing dance, she enjoys spending time with her two beautiful
children and husband, David McDonald. Mrs. McDonald is very excited to be working with the
students at Armfield Dance Academy teaching Hip-Hop classes.
